Dr. Christian Veillette is the Division Head of Orthopaedic Surgery at University Health Network (UHN) and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. As a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, his clinical practice is dedicated to advancing complex upper extremity care through innovative surgical techniques. He is recognized for his leadership in bridging the gap between high-level surgical expertise and the strategic management of academic health systems.

Beyond the operating room, Christian is a prominent figure in medical informatics and digital health strategy. He leads a division of 14 surgeons with a focus on operational efficiency, research innovation, and the implementation of large-scale strategic frameworks. His work is centered on transforming how clinical data and collaborative platforms are used to enhance surgical education and patient outcomes globally.
